MENSWEAR DESIGN PROJECT

How do the outfits of a menswear collection come about? What are the steps and useful tools to create a menswear garment? To answer these questions and to deepen the menswear theme; the Istituto Secoli workshop will address the different stages of development of a capsule, starting from the analysis of a moodboard and the story of trends and fads. The design and technical phases of fashion products will then be examined in depth. The technical part, in particular, today exists in two forms: one linked to the rediscovery of the manual and tailoring arts and the other that responds to the world of research and technological innovation. 3D digital prototyping impacts not only on a creative level but also on a productive level; creating new professions and changing some models within the sector.
