Istituto Modartech is a higher educational training center in the Fashion and Communication field. A contemporary school that links research and experimentation in the true Italian know-how. Where the vision becomes a project, in a pathway of experience, comparison and creative dialogue between craftsmanship and technology, between sustainability and innovation.
In Tuscany, placed in Piaggio’s ex-industrial spaces, the Institute offers a unique training experience to the students, in one of the most important Italian fashion district.
Attentive to the environment, to the multi-ethnical culture but also to more current topics as combatting discrimination and protecting the totally Italian “know-how”, in synergy with the most advanced technological innovations: these are the values that emerge from the collection made by Modartech’s graduate Fashion Design course.
Focus is given to the materials: vegan leather, natural yarns not treated, wadding and materials produced from plastic bottles, natural dyes, water-based ink prints, recycled fabrics, zero Km suppliers which give value to the raw materials of the territory. Attention to handmade work, stitching and embroidery and to the ultra-technological accessories that increase the tactile perception.
The main actor is the creativity of the young talents, with visions, values, research and experimentation – expressions of the spirit of the time.
