Since its foundation, Domus Academy has been a place where future designers experience an open and cross-disciplinary environment. The 11 one-year postgraduate master programmes in the areas of fashion, design, experience and business enable students to work following a distinctive methodology based on learning by designing approach, participating in interdisciplinary workshops exploring and working side by side experienced professionals and leading companies.
Domus Academy programmes are accredited and internationally recognized. Over the years, Domus Academy has been awarded many prizes and recognitions, including the Compasso d’Oro for its teaching methodology and the Special Badge of Excellence in Learning Experience from The Business of Fashion.
Five different collections were designed and developed in response to various stimuli, reflecting the individual designers’ identities and creativity.
The exploration of new ideas, an intimacy of scale and vision are revealed in silhouettes, form, material and technique.
Sustainability, the fashion industry, the impact of the collection is always considered; apparent and expressed or incorporated as a normal expression of a changed consciousness.
Proposed recycling and innovative eco-friendly fabrics blend with aesthetics and lifestyle. Comfortable volumes, overlapping layers for a seasonless and gender-fluid present, the collections reveal a contemporary desire to be, to be recentered, to be true, to be individual and connected.
